Confusion as to whether their will be conflicts between the various versions &lt;br&gt;2. Amount of machines/reinstalls I have to work with makes it really frustrating each time I do have to install a framework&lt;br&gt;3. apt-get has spoiled me&lt;br&gt;4. Apple/Cocoa has spoiled me&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I forgot to mention something in my post. Its not just installation that is frustrating. If I want to start writing for windows, what framework do I use? &lt;br&gt;.Net 3.0, 3.5 or x.x. Will my users have it installed? Will they have to install it?
